How we research, write, and keep our job-search guides accurate and useful.
How we create our content
Our job-search guides are written to help real US job seekers make decisions — which resume format to use, how an ATS reads a resume, how to write a cover letter, how to prepare for an interview. Each guide is grounded in how hiring actually works in the US, in current applicant-tracking-system behavior, and in patterns we see across the job-search workflow our own product supports.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help draft and structure content, the same way we help job seekers draft resumes and cover letters. AI is never the final word: every guide is reviewed and edited by a person for accuracy, usefulness, and honesty before it is published. We do not publish unedited, machine-generated text, and we avoid claims we cannot support.
Who writes our content
Content is produced by the Fresume editorial team — writers and reviewers focused on resumes, ATS, and US job search. When we describe how a tool works, it reflects how our own product behaves; when we describe a competitor or a third-party tool, we verify the details against that tool’s own information and note when pricing or features may have changed.
How we keep content accurate
Job-search advice goes stale — ATS behavior, tool pricing, and hiring norms all change. We update guides as things change and date time-sensitive claims. If you spot something out of date or incorrect, tell us at [email protected] and we will review and correct it.
Disclosure
Fresume is a product. When a guide mentions Fresume, we say so clearly, and we aim to describe competitors fairly — including where they are stronger than we are. We do not publish fake reviews or testimonials.
